I didnt mind the CGI so much to be honest. But what I did find annoying was that Light was...."less cautious" I guess compared to the anime/manga. Plus alot of the moments were done so much better in the anime (ie the bus scene, the way he kills off Misora, etc). But, I will say that it was nice to see it on the big screen with friends. So, I cant complain too much.

^ yea imo it wasnt so bad. i like the plot to it and when i found what light was really doing in using his girlfriend as a set up really made me say whoooaa. extremely clever but twisted at the same time.

Dunno if it'll come out in cinema here in the UK. I've seen both anyway. It's a great movie. I prefer the manga/anime, since they're completely different from the movie. I did however, like the way Death Note 2: The Last Name ended.

I think compared to the anime it was a steaming pile of horse****
However, not comparing it to the anime, it was relatively good as something random to watch and I probably would/will watch it again at some point in the future

It wasn't good for me, i found it awefull and the actor who takes the main role wasn't good i think so....
