i kinda thought mgs 2 was a minor let down with raiden and all. where the hell did he come from anyways ?? it woulda been better if snake was the playable character through out the game. but as for gameplay it was pretty awesome. oh and another minor detail but i thought snakes punch punch spin kick combo was awesome and they shoulda kept it.

Has anyone of you already mastered the "Big Boss" Ranking? I just suck at Big Boss Extreme .... I guess I have to admit that this one is simply to much for me ^^'

How about you guys?

well i finally beat the big boss extreme difficulty. took me almost a week. i had a lot of trouble with raging raven tho. also raising the alert status pretty much ends the game since its dam near impossible to get out of it alive lol

Great game, I finished it on the normal difficulty and it's a good reason to buy a PS3 on it's own. The epilogue drags itself a bit after the first half though and tries to explain things that even the most hardcore MGS fan won't even care for. Too much unnecessary information in my opinion. But still an experience like no other.
Still if anyone sees it strictly game wise it has a lot of issues. First of all the A.I of the enemies are near zero. Secondly most of the bosses are a bit too easy (even though I haven't tried the harder difficulties yet) and pretty predictable (they only have a couple of patterns).
By the way, does anyone play online? I played a couple of times even though it only has about 1000 users tops. Not even close to the half million users of games like Halo 3 and COD4.

yea under 5 hours, no deaths, no kills, no alerts, no special items (bandanna, stealth, and no recovery items) used.

sounds ridiculously impossible, but its not. as for health, you can use the ipod to regain health and psyche. theres unlimited saves so use those to your advantage. if u get to a part you know ull have trouble with,

just save before it. you die, quit and reload. ( i did a lot of that haha) oh and pausing the game seems to add to your completion time. and obviously, you have to skip the awesome cut scenes.

not impossible, but pretty dam hard. most challenge ive had since command and conquer 3.

(raging raven boss fight, motorcycle with eva, and crying wolf boss fight) just save before it. you die, quit and reload.
