Naruto: Shippuuden
Naruto Shippuuden is the continuation of the original animated TV series Naruto. The story revolves around an older and slightly more matured Uzumaki Naruto and his quest to save his friend Uchiha Sasuke from the grips of the snake-like Shinobi, Orochimaru. After 2 and a half years Naruto finally returns to his village of Konoha, and sets about putting his ambitions to work, though it will not be easy, as He has amassed a few (more dangerous) enemies, in the likes of the shinobi organization; Akatsuki.
Series Status: Still Airing, Unlicensed Series Genre: Adventure, Comedy, Drama, Fantasy, Mystery, Shounen, Supernatural Spoken Language: Japanese Subtitles: English ------------------------------------------------------------------ So far there are 16 episodes . From 14 through 16 it has been getting more interesting. I really cant wait till 17 comes out.What do you think about the series? |

I love teh new overlook of naruto and everyone. They're more skilled and everything.... But Naruto is still a joker like always. :)

TBH... the new series is kinda meh, imo...
i was a fan of the original... but this series is just progressing WAY TO SLOW for my tastes.... plus instead of having full episodes of fillers, they took the liberty of also putting the fillers IN the actual non-filler episodes... ah well... after all this, i still find myself watching it every week as it comes out.... *sigh... |

I admit, I've only seen a few episodes (and I've still yet to see the first Naruto!) but I do like this and would like to back into it. I wonder though, I can't help reading about things dragging on... does this mean it'll suffer from the Dragon Ball Z Freeza phenomenon? Remember how long THAT fight took? I seriously hope it won't be like that. Well... at least there's still the manga.
