But as all seemed to be lost, A squadron of Claymores defend Earth from total destruction, the outpost built by the Claymores is now under siege by Robot Pirates from Robot Pirate Island (yea, spongebob reference

the aliens researched a new breeding methods and thus 16% grew to 1600% of the original population. Sensing a huge surge in aliens, predators too set foot on the land to prey and thus began a new war later known as Alien VS Predator . . . |

...a war in which the human marines really wanted to take part, which led to some seriously dodgy recruiting in prisons, because they'd need people who weren't going to bail on them. So now all the psychopaths and other murderers were enlisted, and the marines left to fight the war, which in turn left Earth completely defenceless....
