"From the makers of Green Green", those words right there should clue you into how this game really goes. Basically you and your friends who couldn't get laid to save the world at your old school, are given the chance to come to an all girls school if you get a high enough GPA so that you can 'further' your education, like hell. The game is pretty much the day in and day out life (read: screw ups) of you and your friends as you attempt to woo the girls while still managing to be a bunch of perverts.
At some point in all this, the realization that this all girls school is actually a school for alchemists and the pursuit of alchemy sets in and is the backdrop for the actual story. Each of the 5 girls that have taken an interest in you (or vice-versa) have a different story to tell and make for a somewhat cliche but very satisfying set of sob stories and endings. Basically, we take Green Green, mash it up with Full Metal Alchemist, sprinkle in a little Kanon to taste, and we wind up with Edelweiss, case closed.
