some of them look a bit choppy try using the pentool for rendering (some look like u used magic eraser.) have a look through the rendering link in my spoiler for tips and check out the tutorials section for rendering tut (toadies is a good one).

I use the pen tool to cut out all the background of the picture. Its takes alot longer then some other methods though

Ya, I'd guess you'd have to have a damn delicate hand to do that...haha...I like using like the color selector and using a 3 or 5 pixel eraser at like 300 percent so I can see the choppy parts...better than magic eraser results...but probably not perfect...then again, when people use them most of the time it doesn't have to be perfect I suppose because it's usually blended or has layers behind and in front of the render...thanks for the tips guys :)

don't really need a steady hand unless you try to free form it. Other then that you just create the points and when your finished turn it into a selection.

but the point of rendering is, as far as I know, saving the sigmaker some time, and people who make sigs are also able to a few clicks so it's better to watch the details because if you don't, we can also just take the original and cut it out with a few clicks
