Watched the 4th ep and its really good. Great story and a ... cute female protagonist.

Ep 1 was a bit weird but very funny .
For those who haven't watched it yet. Give it a shot.

When I saw the first episode I actually laughed and continued with the series and was surprised to see an actual serious aspect to it. I think it's definitely worth a watch if you haven't already, with that intro and compelling mmo like anime genre it's already become one of my favorites.

if u guys wanna watch this..try using a site call crunchyroll.com i just watched all episodes today and it ended..crappy ending imo but season 2 is coming out in 2009..can't wait to see that..

I hated the cliffhanger and waiting until next year to see what is going to happen. I still liked this anime because it was really like a RPG. The beginning of everyone in normal cloths got the mindtrack thinking that this is all really a game.

The end was foreshadowed but it was still, "Omg. You guys got owned!" I think Kaaya really regreted it and wasn't acting right at the end. Unless she played her sad face really well. Neeba is such an asshole. I wonder what's really inside the tower though. Kaaya must know something to be compelled so much to reach it.

Of course a lot of questions were unanswered to build up hype and make people watch the next season/sequel. I wonder what Gilgamesh is up to. He killed one of his men near him and said he had the blue crystal rod already. Gilgamesh might have resurrected the tower and added another one on top of it to test someone. To see if someone is as strong as him and challenge him to a duel or aid him in a conquest to rule other countries (lol lame I know :P). I just thought of that because the blue hair girl was sealed by "someone" that could have been Gilgamesh. Then the current Druaga is her lover apparently. Might have been twisted by Gilgamesh after he fought the previous one to be a guardian to the mythical tower as a test. Eeh... I don't know, just assuming a bunch of crap.

Then how did a select few know about the truth behind the tower? Only thing I could think of is something happened in the past or Gilgamesh told them in some way or another.

Then those dark guardians that Pazuz summoned. I thought the channeling was incomplete since he got interrupted and the coffins closed back up. Unless someone else completed the summoning but it looked like none of the guardians noticed anyone else. Another speculation is that Pazuz actually lived or a bit longer and completed it after Neeba went away.

There was a lot more I wanted to say but my mind got sidetracked and I can't think of anything else. This anime was fun to watch and it had its funny moments.
