I just read a topic about animes that made you cry, so i thought to come and ask ppl if they got any music or themes to get them all emotional or into a state of sad transe, or simply make them cry.

I myself have various... but heres a few

Tool ( yes i know its weird ), Tools music gets me all into a weird state of transe, i dont know whether to cry, laugh or just sit silent and listen to it, in a wrong place or at a wrong time, this kind of music could creep me out forever, good examples are the songs "Vicarious", "the Pot" and "Jambi"

FF7 themes... pretty basic, but yes, they remind me of the times i was a kid, simply playing FF7 because of the quality of the game, and how my experience with the game evolved at somewhere between the ages 14-15, when i started to understand the sad and dark theme of the game, good examples are " Aerith's Theme ", " main theme " and " on our way "... also many many others

Now that we got to game themes, Chrono Trigger OST makes me cry, simply and easily, oh those good old days :P

Faith no More, just because listening to the " album of the year " makes me only think of how i epicly failed to see FnM live ( allthough they confirmed theyre comeback and now im gonna do it )... good examples of FnM's emotional songs IMO are " King for a Day ", " Stripsearch ", " Epic ", " Midnight Cowboy" and " I started a joke "

... allthought theres much more music to get me all sad or into a " well " of emotions, these are the ones i came up this time :P

There is no specific band whose songs can make me emotional. If I can relate to the song's lyrics/meaning and if it has a good melody (fitting my current mood), I can really get a bit sentimental. Hmm... going into any particular song, perhaps:
- Coldplay (The Scientist, Fix You, In My Place, Yellow)
- TVXQ Ballads (Begin, Love in the Ice, Miduhyo, Whatever They Say)
- Fly to the Sky Ballads
- Generally sad piano/violin/sax pieces (Pachelbel's Canon in D, Yiruma)

Tool gets me hyped up (especially Vicarious), not emotional xD

Off the top of my mind, some Muse, Nightwish, and Red songs for me (although I don't listen to Red that much). Then the other odd song like Rise Against's "Swing Life Away", Avenged Sevenfold's "Seize the Day", Seether's "Rise Above This" and "Breakdown", and most of the songs I've heard from Nirvana's "In Utero" album. And the themes from F/SN I have.
