i recommend:
1. High and Mighty Color(very good band,Maki is amazing, although Yusuke can be annoying sometimes) 2. Asian Kung-fu Generation 3. Abingdon Boys School 4. L'arc~en~ciel you could also try the 'visual kei' style 1. Luna Sea 2. X-Japan 3. Miyavi (still considered a visual kei,right?) edit: Didnt noticed that everything was mentioned already. Most of the bands have been mentioned, those that i know anyway, and i want to recommend you another 2 on which i ran into 3 days ago or smth.
Buck-Tick - they're really known, have created some ost's , i remember that there was a single for Trinity Blood op/ed (don't remember) . The song was named Dress. It is j-rock with some indie influences at their beginning .. RIP SLYME - i usually don't listen to hip-hop but this band really kicks ass. It's not the common hip-hop..mmm...hard to explain. fast beat hip hop or smth. Search for gantz opening :) |

hmmmm
For J-rock i suggest Nightmare, songs to check out: Hate Tokyo Shounen Sekishoku(Chorus sounds like tetris) Dasei Boogie Most of the songs are really good, some are rock while some others are nice and slow STANCE PUNKS check out any of there songs, they did one of the opening for naruto if i rememeber correctly and they did an ending for soul eater |
