I remember when I would listen to rap and rock and be criticized at school for it because it was "devils music" and "White peoples music" and recently there are up-stirrings of violent children. Their violence is blamed on the music that they listen to. I was in church and I remember that many times the preacher would say "Rock'n roll spouts only violence and is the devils music" ( laughed my ass of and walked out )

What are your biased opinions? Do you think that in general all rock'n roll is the devil's music ( this is a big contradiction towards Christian rock bands, by the way.. ) or does it have a direct effect on the way a child acts?

Does it affect the way that you act?

well music did change the way i think,but the way i act dont think so


it all depends how do you get the music vibes and lyrics (most of people who listen to rock and metal) think its cool cause its "satanic" (dumb kids i say)

See that's ridiculous. I hate that. There are only two bands in the world that I absolutely can not stand (that I've encountered at any rate) but I'm not going to beat someone if they like them. It's their opinion and such.
As for music being (in particular rock/metal) the devils music people like that are part of what's wrong with the world. I mean heck there's christian metal! Besides a good portion of music obviously is not "satanism" unless these people consider unrelgious type of music satanism. lol this type of thing aggravates me to no end -.-;;

Ok I like a very biased music and that Horrorcore bands in them Insane Clown Posse

Everyone hates them just because they dress like clowns, so what, and if someone kills some one. "OOOHH ICP raps about killing even thou they say they dont condone it there the problem"

Anyone who kills someone and they say its because of a band, must have real problems with there head and probably would've done it with out the music.

Thats my oppnion.

Anyone who thinks that wouldn't have any understanding for what satanism would be. Satanism is more of a religious thing than anything that is without religion or non-christian music. If anything satanism is more of a pro-belief-in-god thing. That is because satanism is about the devil and if you believe in the devil you also believe in god.

So a song without god(or non Christian music) would have absolutely nothing to do with satanism and instead less satanic than christian music . Meaning, unless a song directly says something about satanism, anyone who says it's satanic is a complete idiot and has no idea what they are talking about.

Basically what I mean is.. If a band says nothing about religion, to assume it is of the satanistic religion is going an extra step into the assumption. And it is much more reasonable to assume they are an atheist or agnostic band because nothing having to do with religion was brought into it.

yeah, the problem is that I have no doubt that there are masses of people who are just plain nuts. I'm talking about the people who think harry potter is a work of satanism, pokemon was evil trying to convert our kids etc. Unfortunately there seems to be more of these people than there should be

There are many forms of satanism, and the irony in calling something "Satanist" is that there is no closer religion to God than Satanism. What I mean by different forms-take an example, as accidental as it may be; Led Zeppelin "Stairway to heaven" playing that song backwards results in Page singing about "Satan"

People and their ignorance, not all, but a lot of the general population tend to blame their mistake on music, so why not religion as well?

I love punk music, but when i say that people are like WTF

becasue Punk is also a street term for a Male Prostitute........
I hate comparasons like that ^.^

Simple Plan, Good Charlotte, Etc... is Great Punk Music ^.^

But I hate those punk bands, if you want some good punk bands try.
