Re: Japanese music
I dont really like that much japanese music but I do like the second opening and ending of Death Note. In fact I liked it so much I put it on my ipod. The songs are Zetsubou Billy and Whats up people? by Maximum the Hormone.

Re: Japanese music
MY fav's right now are Amuro Namie, BoA, and Utada. I would probibly start listening to more but I can't seem to find a download service like iTunes that carries J-Pop/J-Rock music withut having to deal with iTunes.

Re: Japanese music
I started listening to japanese music when I first got into anime, and haven't stopped. My favorites tend to be anime openings/endings, because I tend to like songs better if I have some sort of visual that goes with them. I do the same things with songs used on AMVs; I wouldn't have started listening to some songs no matter what had I not seen a good AMV set to it. Currently, though, I really like the 2nd opening for Gundam 00, Ash Like Snow. There's just something about the song that draws me in and makes me listen to it for hours.

Re: Japanese music
Ah, this is a trick question.
There are no good Japanese musicians. Or at least vocalists. |

Abingdon Boys School T.M Revolution Ellegarden Orange Range Ayumi Hamasaki Number Girl Vola & The Oriental Machine FLOW Chatmonchy Beat Crusaders Stance Punks Porno Graffiti L'Arc En Ciel Nightmare Snowkel Analog Fish Luminous Orange Mell Bonnie Pink The Yellow Monkey Dir En Grey X-Japan ...
