Getting past the whole friends aspects of the relationship is really like walking through a minefield for the one trying to change the relationship. As you've mentioned you really haven't spoken with her much (and assuming gone out and done anything) you're in a better spot than most. Its a tough situation to judge from your perspective, I've been on the other end a few times with guys that I've been really good friends with try to change the direction of our relationship/friendship and has led to very awkward situations. Unless she has the same thoughts about the whole situation, you're probably going to surprise her when you start asking more directed questions. Confidence in your resolve in what could become awkward silence can be the the key factor. Don't be pushy, but don't be shy or timid about it.

No way. Come on now, you're far from the friend zone already. You get hugs from her, she seems to enjoy it, she dislikes people mocking her for it, and now she's taking you to the beach, alone? That's some pretty "private" friendship, if you ask me. I actually don't even expect you to have to ask her out : unless you two are overly awkward and juvenile, things should go smoothly by themselves. Just try and stay relaxed, interested, and enjoyable. You're just meant to have a good time ; I would expect things to go faster than you think.

well, back then, I was REALLY shy.. and she had a BF, so i didnt have a chance. now ive gotten over it, so thats why I liked her for those years.
even though I havent talked with her much, I really feel like a conection with her, as we often take a walk before taking our ride home, and stuff

also, he reason im asking is that i've only had 1 GF before, and thats was a "half" distance relationship, and went pretty bad, so I kinda lost confidence.

EDIT: btw, what should I bring?

I understand that you lost your confidence because of that, but life is about failing, hitting a wall or two and pick yourself up again. It's probably easier for me to tell you to have confidence than it is having it in practice, but don't give up! What is the worst that can happend? That she rejects you. I understand that being rejected is a big deal, but things like that will happend for many more times to come, so you just have to take it and get up again. But judging from what you have told, I'm actually quite certain she won't reject you. So just stay positive, be yourself and give it your all! :-D
As for what to bring, that's up to you. What if you try cooking some food for her? Or fix some sandwitches for both of you to eat. If you aren't that good at making food, get your mom to help you. If I were in her shoes, I would be flattered if a person brought home-made food with him/her for our date. Also, bring along something you can play with; a volleyball, for an instant. And maybe you could do some shell-hunting with her. That's classical, you know, finding a beautful seashell and give it to your special person. ^O^
I'm not sure if I was any help for you, but I hope you will give it your all, even if you are unsure about yourself. Remember who you are doing it for! Again, good luck, I'm sure everything will turn out just fine. :-)

ok, some sandwhiches, and a volleyball is definetely something I should bring, since she likes volley =P
why didnt I think about it before xD
now the thing is... where can I find a volleybal!? only 4 days to go! >_<
well, some other ball will have to do if I dont have money to buy one -_- but knowing her, we should still have a pretty good time, since shes a pretty happy person!
btw, anyone got any more tips? the more, the better!

*sigh* you guys must getting bored with all my questions, but please bare with me till saturday/sunday morning!

well, everything went awesome! although we didnt kiss, we talked for a REALLY long time (we met at 3, and went home at 9), and then we relaxed for a while, and then we fell asleep together while hugging eachother (she was in my chest) >w<
damn, we stayed like that for like an hour! it definetely felt good ^^
though like I said, we didnt kiss, but Im sure there was a conexion between us, and we walked down the beach while looking at the sun going down, while holding hands.
now, what do you think??? do I have any chance of becoming a couple with her??

There's nothing wrong with not kissing! I think it's even better. You showed here that you can wait and that's a good attitude :) but don't let the heat cool down. Go out with her again as soon as possible ;)

only problem is that I got really sun burned on my arms, legs and neck >_< but damn it was worth it!
yeah, though I think ill take a couple of days, though I DO want to ask her to be my graduation date (im graduating really soon =D).
man.... this is (if everything goes well) going to be the best year ending =P

hey, where should I take her next? we both wanna see the movie 2012, so maybe ill take her to watch it

IRL is a pretty upstanding MMO with thousands of classes, a lot of PvP and even some pretty unique emotes and titles you can acquire. Explore that world first, then we'll talk about this virtual one.
