front or back i dnt mind. but it depends. normally a male would hug from the front to greet his gf / bf if they are gay or gf hugging her bf. but there is also a psychological part to it also. where males that want to show off domance would hug their gf from the back to display who they are with. some times u do intentionally. most times u can see this int he night clubs. but then again i aint no psychologiest.
