You don't ask a girl out when you don't know her. Get to know her ; since you want to get close to her, that'll probably happen. You'll find ways. Try not to be too bothersome or not to ALWAYS be with her. Just be friends, but nothing like closer friends who hang out together, etc.

Just find some middle ground and talk to her. If you have her for math start a simple conversation about the work or your teacher and there you go. If u just go up to somebody and say hi flat out you might not always get the desired results. This way if you don't have anything planned to say to her, you have the excuse of math.
