so yeah. this is one problem i have faced before numerous times. you know the common situation, one person has a bad day, something horrible happens, or random depression occurs and the other one chooses to converse with him/her and they just aren't themselves. they seem more proper and in a "IDC/IDK" mood.

so how do you react when your fella' or lady acts as if they were empty; cold; abandoned and so on? and how do you get them to react to your words? how do you feel about it? does it make you feel worse, better, free at last?

If she talks to you about it, she is looking for comfort. That's what you're supposed to do.

I've never really experienced this situation. If it's as if they are feeling down, I would try to comfort them. In a situation of being 'empty' I would say go for comedy, just try to make them feel happier or take their mind of of things.

Be truthful. Tell her that she seems like she is empty inside and tell her that you care and that you won't judge her. Don't act like you feel sorry for her and do not try to smoother her. Sometimes it helps if you just do stuff with her and let her be open up to you by not pushing her.
Some girls and guys have problem communicating their feelings even when you out right ask them what's wrong. These types of people bother me. So good luck in what do with this person.
