Well, I have this friend here who is a girl from my childhood and we were close friends before. Years past, her parents lets her studies in another province(Im from an archipelago country) so I didnt see her for a while. Years later, she came back and now she has a different personality(well, kinda cold and harsh). She leaves her house only a few times a day and we seldom talk now(justing exchanging hi's and hello's) and she grew kinda cute and I developed a crush on her. What should I do to be a clost friend of her again??

I think you should start from zero again, dude...
try by saying "hello, long time no see.."
"how was your study?", "what kind of world did you live when you took that study?"...
or.. you can continue with "do you remember when we were kids, we often ..bla..bla..bla...?" just to fish some new topics for conversation...
just be calm like both of you used to be..

This guy has a point lol! Most good romance stories end up starting out with the return of a long lost friend from the past. You just have to get reacquainted with them in the meantime and hope that they'll open up to you. Talking about good times past by would be a good idea to start things out.

Well, we can't really talk much because she's not the talkative type now and she won't really go out without a reason. And she can't stay for a talk because her mother/brothers won't let her go outside, Thats why im asking some advice..T_T

Edit: And if I talk about the past she would just say. "Past is past don't talk about it." Then walks away and I was left there dumb founded because the 'old' her won't say that kind of thing. And I was, OMG!! How could she changed that much..T_T
