Getting a girl at a dance?
I have a question for the American girls of the world. Before I say anything, I have to say this: I CANNOT DANCE. At all. The extent of my dancing ability is the rock and snap thing from Hitch >.<
I can't say I'm the prettiest guy either. I do have dark hair, blue eyes, and I have little/no acne. However, I am slightly chubby in the gut (almost like a beer belly; chubby in the gut, fine elsewhere), but it's really hard to see when I am wearing a shirt. So, how can a guy get a girl when he can't dance? I have had success in hitting on girls, but once they want me to hit the dance floor I cower in fear. This is probably because last time I grinded (8th grade, long ago) I made a complete @$$ of myself. What do I do? Also, how do I pursue the relationship? I had met up with the one girl that I really liked (she was an otaku and had my same musical taste ), but she sort of backed off a little when I asked if we could go out sometime, and gave me an unsure :sure" (no pun intended). Later, I was at the movies with her and some of our friends, and when I put my arm around the top of her seat, she didn't mind (I didn't put it around her shoulder because I was afraid she would make me take it off and it would become really awkward), but I don't know if she noticed. I havent even talked to her in quite a while. So, is there any way to try to find out if she likes me? If so, how can I reconcile the relationship after so long apart? |

I avoid dances all together. They are over-rated.

Re: Getting a girl at a dance?
does she know how to dance (the way you're referring to)? if not then you have no worries in that aspect, you can make fools out of yourselves together. my bf just sits in a corner and nods to the music while i'm in the middle of the floor. whenever i drag him out he starts doing the lord of the dance (asians are NOT supposed to be able to do that >_>). yeah, he can't dance.
on the relationship part, how long is quite a while and did she get a bf/gf during that time? |
