Re: another question on dancing
Hmm I think it depends on the crowd and music your dancing too. But most of the time since you obviously don't want to be poppin, just do what you feel natrual doing. I don't really think you need anything fancy.

Re: another question on dancing
Take ballroom dance lessons or modern dance classes. It's a good place to pick up girls too, as they like guys who can dance, and even guys that can't but are willing to learn. DON'T try any fancy moves since you're inexperienced. You'll hit the floor quickly and take out other couples too from across the room with loud noises reminiscent of bowling pins scattering. And no your nationality has nothing to do with it. Arika was just joking about her boyfriend that's all.
Here is a short lesson with a simple solo dance, and it just happens to be the foundation for all male dancing moves. Start with both feet together, then step left (only shoulder width however). ![]() ![]() Now, take your right foot and place it next to your left one. ![]() Step back with your left foot. ![]() Now, moving in a diagonal line, place your right foot directly across from your left, like so: ![]() Place your left foot next to your right one. ![]() Step forward with your right foot. ![]() Again, move in a diagonal line, but this time going in the opposite direction with your left foot, placing it directly across from your right, like so: ![]() Then bring your right foot back next to your left. ![]() To continue the dance, simply repeat the moves from Step 2. Here is what the whole dance looks like if you were to draw imaginary lines on the floor to trace where your feet go. ![]() It is a simple dance, but like I said, it is the foundation for all male dance moves. The really fancy stuff is usually left to the women. Guys are like the easel that hold up the painting that is a woman's dance. Don't worry if the first few times you do this your moves are jerky and rigid. Once you get the foot motion down, put your hips into it more and more. After that, perform small motions with your arms to complement the style. Once you master it alone, you can do this exact same dance with a woman. And always take the lead. This dance will do for now for one maybe two songs, but you want to develop a kind of portfolio of dances so that you don't get boring. If you dance only on occasion, 3-5 different dances are all you really need. |

Re: another question on dancing
Haha love the dance help there Slayden.
Umm well usually all you have to do is walk around a bit. It's not hard to hold hands, have one arm around eachother and then just move left and right and forward and back, thats what the main principle of dancing is built on. Then you could lift her arm up and spin her in under it and then back again so you don't twist it of course. While shes spinning you could put your arm around her back waist and let her kinda hang there for a bit. For the girl its extremely romantic and very exciting. Not to mention a little scary which adds to the excitement. When in doubt man practice with a broom. Honestly.

Re: another question on dancing
What?!?! You know in ancient times it was believed that any man who could kill with speed and accuracy should be able to dance with grace as well. Ballroom dancing is not gay in the least. Just take a good look at the Tango:

Take the Lead is an Awesome movie <3
One huge thing about the tango is eye contact. Brooms work. Trust me. I cant believe you have never heard of practicing with a broom.

Re: another question on dancing
Dancing is like art. It's beautiful and capturing. It's also really seductive as well if your any good. I've snagged a few chicks in my time from being a good dancer.
