actually this one is quite better than the last one IMO, you have put the girl laying in some kind of a standing place, that way it wouldn't feel like she is floating or something. unless that ground came with the render already?

the first one looks kinda busy and don't know why but i don't like how lelouch face looks like.
and i like the second one as it is, but i think it will look better if it were a lil' more darker so you can add more depth^^

I thought the globe in the upper left seemed out of place.

yeah, that globe seems out of place, but if you put it in the lower part of his right hand and lowered the opacity i think it will look like he letting out some kind of "ki" from his hand

Well on mine I actually used the sand from the render except the sand was above her arms in the original that I had when I did this (I used to have a scan of it where the sand was kind like it is now) and there was also water above that I believe it was a wallpaper. So I had rendered it before and then I took the background and adjusted it so that the little bit of water was under the cake. I also used her hair and did some burning for the shadow which wasn't there on the wallpaper I had Yeah I liked it better too but didn't have time to post it before the thread was closed. >m> I was just about to post it as my SOTW entry. when Sempai locked it oh well.

Seems your always picking weird resolutions for your sigs
The Bg itself doesn't mesh with the render but over all Your sigs are improving

The blue does not fit in there it takes away to much focus from LL's face

Play around with the C4D's in multiple layers to add more depth like Kosmek said

One of the big rules of C4D's is use one that matches the color of your render/Bg and the one you are using makes it look bad also try playing with the different layer modes(Soft light,hard light,Linear dodge...etc..) they give some pretty awesome effects

Render needs to be blended in(the right side looks good although it is a bit pixalated like kosmek said)

Well thank you Rave... yeah lol I have to hae weird resolutions because I have images in the range of 6550x7350 things like that because that's how I can get the quality I want.

BTW Bagass your sig looks interesting though the text is a little hard to read with all the effects
