Transparency [Help when rendering signatures]
I'm all set for rendering my newest signature. However I seem to have failed over many attempts on making the image transparent.
:Image: Here's an image of the final product: http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w...luke/trans.jpg You can see that the background is transparent and no other layers to keep it from being transparent. :S O B: I've tried and the only way I can get it to work is through GIFs. However, when I render through GIFs...the file leaves white lined edges and looks LIKE S**T!!! lol... So I tried many times to do so wih a PNG...but each PNG didn't work. Also, I have tried rendering with the "Save for Web" option....failed... D: Help me render a transparent signature at the best quality...please... :D

Re: Transparency [Help when rendering signatures]
Your transparent layer needs to be at the very bottom, not the top. It has to be as your background.
After you've done that, use the save as.... thing for saving. |

Re: Transparency [Help when rendering signatures]
New Question!
:Image: http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w...ke/Trans02.jpg Even when rendered as a normal PNG file. I still get those ugly white edges. Any other way to render perfectly and get nice clean edges?

Re: Transparency [Help when rendering signatures]
Can you upload your PSD and PM the download link to me please. I think I know where you've gone wrong but I'm not certain til I see the layers for myself.
EDIT: Sorted, one of the layers was stroked which caused the horrid white line. Last edited by Darkest : 03-20-2008 at 04:39 PM. |
