Well the first one looks like an assortment of brushes, and the second is a combination of c4ds and using the cloud filter. There used to be another way I used to do something like the background of the second one but the cloud filter was used.

It's just a texture, but to know how to make the signature in it's entirity you'll have to go to PlanetRenders and buy it for PR points like I did, it's called the "Friendship Tutorial". Pretty good didn't really teach me anything but was a interesting choice for background and interesting style.

lol i am on PR but i never thought there was points and that kind of things.. i thought we just search for the render save to.. bye bye XD

The smoke thing that I was talking about is a filter that comes with photoshop called clouds and difference clouds.
