I'll be posting up whatever I don't throw into my portfolio here. Which will probably end up being pencil for the most part but now and then something digital. Comments and critiques are welcome.
So, to kick things off here's my first attempt at a forum signature in ages and a sketch of Light Yagami from reference.  The unresized sketch (about 3.5 x 4.5 inches):

Was planning on using a digital version of the sketch in the signature since rendering is new to me, but anime hair proved a stumbling block. |

Yeah, the border didn't come out as clear as I would have liked. I might mess around with its size so more of the detail shows.
The quote was the inspiration for the whole piece, even if it isn't from Death Note it just fit too well. Is the sketch too faint? Its hard to tell with my screen. Anyway, thanks for the comments! |
