Allen Walker lineart - C&C
Gave drawing using vectors a try... it's an interesting way of doing things, but I'm not sure if I'll keep it up. At any rate, I'm pretty much done with the lineart on this one except for fixing up the furry shoulder bit, but I'd appreciate any C&C before I get on with colouring it. If you're not familiar with the series, his left arm is not present on purpose.

Cool. To do this with just vectors is pretty impressive. I think overall it is well done. I'm also impressed on the drawing of the hand with vector tools. Did you do this in PS or Illustrator?

Re: Allen Walker lineart - C&C
I used the GIMP, actually :Þ
And yeah, I'm pretty happy with how the hand turned out as well. Last edited by toadvine : 05-11-2008 at 12:27 AM. |

Re: Allen Walker lineart - C&C
Hahaha....i don't really like Gimp either. Mostly because i don't like using it. Don't really hate the program.
What made you want to use Gimp? Wanted to try something new? [edit] Oh, the following post wasn't there when i posted this. Why don't you just download it or download the trial from Adobe and then find a patch for it? Last edited by ermeyers : 05-11-2008 at 12:40 AM. |

Re: Allen Walker lineart - C&C
The results between the two programs are noticeable by far. Nothing wrong with using a hacked version till you get a legit one.

Re: Allen Walker lineart - C&C
Well, if that's true I'll look forward to the powerup when I get it
![]() We're getting off topic, though - any thoughts on what I could do to make the drawing better? I'm sure there must be something. |
