Elfen Lied came close in Ep. 13, Utawarerumono succeeded in Ep. 26. Shakugan no Shana Second also succeeded because I was sad that it was over.

There's quite a few that put me to the verge tears, or actually made me cry. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, where Kamina died, made me cry manly tears. Another would be Shikabame Hime, where Kensei told Makina about Ori's past and what his first emotion was, I was close to crying. Any other kind of crying due to anime is because it was done so bad that it makes me want to cry, like where Bleach is going.
But any other kind of suffering/sadness usually makes me laugh. If fate deals you a bad hand, cheat.  Mudamuda~! |

Gurren Lagann had me choked up, same with Shakugan no Shana but I haven't actually cried yet.

anime that makes me wanna cry are AIR TV series and Kimi ga Nozomu Eien T_T
both of them really great from making people crying while watching (especially Kominozo part when Haruka's part) |

i didnt cry but these animes got me realy upset...
nhk even for a couple of days^^ 1. Welcome to NHK 2. Rumbeling hearts grave of the fireflys and barefoot gen(the older version of grave of the....^^) 3.Kannon 2006 5cm per second 4. ef a tale of memories a lot of other animes are sad too but only for moments or 1-2 episodes... |

i almost cried...
1 - Gundam Seed when Cagalli part with his father and i really like the BGM 2 - Code Geass Second Season in the last episode this is 2 is one of the best for me... |
