Recommendations

Ok guys and girls, Currently, I have no anime to watch! *jawdrop* Yeah, so I know this question has been asked before, and I know that many of you will be pissed and probably say "Oh shiz off.." but I'm just a young guy looking for something to watch on weekends. ^_^.

So the anime's I've currently watched are:

Soul Eater (I'm totally loving it)
Naruto Shippuuden (It's a good anime)
Bleach (It was good at first, but then it got boring, so I dropped its ass)
Full Metal Alchemist (I haven't completed it, but I can't be bothered to watch it)

Ok so if you've thought about it, I'd be interested in anime's that had a nice combination of action and comedy. (If everything is too serious, then everything gets boring). I also like anime's that has been released sometime recently. Nothing that's old (I mean anime's that was released in the year 2000 and before that)

These are the list of anime's I've tried:

Fate/Stay Night - I've dropped that because I'm not really into the sorcery and magic thing. That really doesn't get me interested.

Kyo Kara Maoh! - The anime was just tooo old. After 30 secs of watching it, I closed the tab ^_^

Neon Genesis Evangelion - I didn't like the way everything was drawn.

Rosario + Vampire - There are only 13 episodes I think, I'm not going to be bothered.

Rurouni Kenshin - Too old..

Trigun - Too old.

Utawarerumono - The plot seems stupid.

Ah! My Goddess - Too old!

So guys can you gimme a few recommendations?

Neon Genesis Evangelion - I didn't like the way everything was drawn.

Rurouni Kenshin - Too old..

Trigun - Too old.

Ah! My Goddess - Too old!

Try Tengou Tenge You look like you might like that series.

Tenjou Tenge sounds right up my street. I will definitely have a look at the anime and watch it sometime soon.

GetBackers' plot sounds stupid to me. XD

Black blood brothers doesn't have enough episodes (Only 13 WTF??)

Flame of Recca sounds a bit too....cliché!

Thank Kaz3, but I'm not interested in shooting anime's. I like close-up action, like katana's and swords etc etc.

code geass (pure action + story)
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (full of win !)
Shakugan no Shana (although i dont recommend Sns second)

Although I really suggest you watch Kenshin and Trigun they pretty much own all the anime's your seeing right now except for maybe soul eater

There's also Samurai Champloo But its short too

Also whats wrong with 13 episodes?

I'll check into Code Geass ^_^.

I don't like mecha anime's, so Tengan is eliminated :(
Shakugan's plot isn't really interesting to me.

As I said before, Kenshin and Trigun are too old. I don't like seeing scratchy drawings of anime's. I'm the same in actual films.

The thing about 13 episodes is that if the anime is really good, and you've finished it, you'll have that feeling of "I want more", and you'll think back and say "13 episodes jsut isn't enough" I know that's a vague explanation. :S
