Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, FMA, Fate/Stay Night, Outlaw Star, Last Exile Elfen Lied, Death Note, Code Geass, Mushishi, Tenjou Tenge, Blue Gender, Hellsing, Now & Then Here and There, Baccano!, Berserk, Basilisk, Beck, Chrono Crusade, Great Teacher Onizuke, Gungrave, Hajime no Ippo, Planetes, BLACK LAGOON, Kenshin, Yu Yu Hakusho, Full Metal Panic, Welcome to the NHK, Twelve Kingdoms, X, Utawarumon, Trigun, Darker then Black... Basically everything that isn't Narutard and Bleach is well dubbed. The only animes I don't like dub in are the ones where they cut scenes and remove curse words but fortunately I don't watch children anime. English dubs are professionally and well done and I rather watch the picture then read text - plus it's a language I can understand and if I look away for a second I won't miss a line of text because I'll hear it. It's professional dub vs FANsub - your choice. The only places DUB is stupid is where they dub chinese Jet Li movies into English - NOW THAT I HATE.

Good English dubs also give me more of a chance to focus on the animation, rather than read the words on the bottom of the screen with English subs.

I've been watching my anime subbed for ages now but I don't think that all English dubbed shows are horrible. There are some really good ones out there. I really liked the dubbed version of Fruits Basket and Full Metal Panic. However, I have to say that most of the anime that is shown on TV have horrible dubs, especially Naruto.

I am NOT going to get into this subject again. It's one of the few ways to instantly anger me.

I'll sum it up by saying: I watch and enjoy both dubbed and original audio on every single anime I watch.
I despise arrogant, self-righteous weeaboo anti-dub activists.
What language do you think the subtitles are in? That's right, English. Therefore, it is a translation, and therefore, it is subject to exactly the same accusations you so casually hurl in the direction of perfectly adequate dubs.

People who make statements about "all dubs are crap" (in spite of the fact they never watch dubs and therefore have no right whatsoever to say such a thing) are simply beneath contempt, and are not worth the pixels their worthless posts take up on my monitor.

EDIT: It's fine to prefer one or the other, I have no problem with that.
It's the attitude of certain anti-dub elements that bugs me, not the principle.
In most cases these are the same idiots who refuse to read manga with translated sound effects in them, and will always call characters by the Japanese pronunciation of their names - even if the characters do not HAVE Japanese names.

yeah, i rather not watch anime with dub. but for anime that take place abroad japan, eg. Red Garden or emma, eng-dub would suit to them. it just weird seeing non-japanese talk with japanese...

I prefer both dub and subbed. Doesn't matter what language it is as long as the series is good.

The definition of dub is the series being formatted in another language. So, all of you guys are hating regional languages from all over the world or you guys aren't very thorough about your replies of hatred towards dubs.

I have never really liked dub, i admit that there are some good dubs, but subs are still the best. Originality is the way. (These days i dont even watch dubbed films anymore)

anyways, if it were not for dubs, many anime wouldn't have made it overseas and there'd be less fans & otakus
