I hate watching online, it's almost like a sin. What I value the most is quality. Anime online has shitty resolution and video quality, not to mention the translation is often off too. For me to fully enjoy the show there must be nicely encoded video and sound, good translation, readable typeset, effects and karaoke, so I'm downloading it, of course releases from good groups. It's better to watch sth in 720p than 640x480 or lower.

Watching online is easier for me. But if it's a case where I have to download it, then it can't be helped and I will on rare occasions.
