- i can't remember exactly when, but i think it was in my elementary years.

Which is your favourite anime?
- so many...

Is there any anime that you particularly didn’t enjoy and why?
- yes, because of the poor animation quality and poor plot.

Would you prefer to watch dubbed anime or anime in its original language?
- in it's original language with subs.

What genre is your favourite type of anime such as comedy, action, romance etc and why?
- harem, action, romance, supernatural and comedy.

Do you think that anime has changed over the years?
- yes, especially the graphics quality.

Would you find any influence in today cartoons or anime?
- yes. almost all anime teaches us something, like life lessons/morals.

Would you prefer to read the manga version of the anime or rather just watch the anime cartoon series?
- actually both. read then watch or watch then read...

can't remember most of what I've seen, but the titles with most impact would probably be CLANNAD, code geass, fruits basket
not so much impact but still enjoyable: k-on(inspired me to buy a guitar haha!), ouran host club

-probably samurai champloo or maybe excel saga... ah who am I kidding, the original battle fortress macross.

* Is there any anime that you particularly didn’t enjoy and why?
-elfen lied, although I don't mind the gratuitous violence, I do mind the rampant child abuse, lolicon, sexual perversion, and obscenely depressive themes. also any anime character that refers to herself/himself in the third person for the sake of cuteness, might be retarded. This show has not ONE but TWO!! In short, that show was VERY hard to watch.

* Would you prefer to watch dubbed anime or anime in its original language?
-Both really, some times localization takes care of cultural references. Other times its best to just watch the subtitle, as localization teams ruin jokes, or general continuity. i.e. the first ghost in the shell movie. (the english version almost eradicates the major's sense of humor.)

* What genre is your favourite type of anime such as comedy, action, romance etc and why?
-Action, and Comedy. Life is dramatic enough, and I watch anime to unwind.

* Do you think that anime has changed over the years?
-yes and no. Obviously, the animation techniques have changed, also western exposure has gone way up, so the marketing of the companies have gotten better. but the general social commentary hasn't.

* Would you find any influence in today's cartoons or anime?
-I don't exactly understand this question. So I'll answer the best I can.
Has anime in general influenced my life? tremendously. I'd be lying if I said it didn't.
Am I as effected today? Still, very much so. I do alot of drawing, so I like to take the different styles I like, and mix them in. (shows like Soul eater, samurai champloo, *last exile* & xxxholic, are among of my favorite, stylistically.)

* Would you prefer to read the manga version of the anime or rather just watch the anime cartoon series?
-I have to do alot of reading through-out the day, so I'd rather a nice director do the imagining for me, haha. On the other hand, I like the original art from the mangas more. Also more often than not, something changes when the transition from book, to television or movie.

how old am i? ergh....upper 40's
when did i start watching anime? My first time i noticed it was probably mid 90's, though i didnt really start getting deep into it until about 5 years ago.
what's my favorite anime? Wow. For me it is a deadlock between Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Pani Poni Dash-although if i re-watch Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei (all seasons & ovas), it could be a 3 way tie.
Is there any anime i watched and did not particualry enjoy & why? The only ones that come to mind are Comic Party Revolution-because i watched it with the english dubs, which were horrible, and School Days, which i gave up after about 6 eps, the storyline was getting painful. However, i am still thinking of forcing myself to finish it someday.
Would i prefer to watch dubbed anime or in the original language? It depends on the series as well as who is doing the dubbing. If i am watching online, subs are best. But if im watching on dvd, whoever distributes makes a difference. F'rinstance, if it was from ADV, more than likely i will watch with dubs-there are some english voice actors/actresses that i really do enjoy (Luci Christian, Monica Rial, Jessica Boone, to name a few), but then again, I find some just annoying. Wendie Lee vs. Aya Hirano? Not even close-Aya Hirano wins.
What genre is my favorite kind of anime? Comedy. Gives me something to laugh about.
Do I think anime has changed over the years? Oh heck yeah. But then again it will continue to do so, which is fine with me.

1st was Naruto, then One Piece,Bleach,Seto no Hanayome, To LOVE-Ru, Umisho, Toradora!,Rosario + Vampire and many morE!

Naruto, The story became boring at the sanbi arc... after that, i haven't see naruto... but from what I heard, the story is great now...

well i guess i can count Pokemon and Digimon and DBZ as anime... so about 6-8ish somewheres in there...

Elfen Lied! It has the perfect balance of all the genres in it.

For some reason i cant remember i stopped watching Rozen Maiden... i also dont like rediculously long animes (ones that go over the 100 mark), and ones that introduce characters and then kill them off right away... unless its a 3 kingdoms anime, then its allowed cause i already know what happens before it happens lol...
Would you prefer to watch dubbed anime or anime in its original language?
Definetly original language with english subs... i just finished watching Mahoromatic season 2 in english and it sucked in comparison to subbed...

Favourite for me would be Romance, Action, Harem, Comedy, Drama, and sometimes throw a bit of Thriller in there.

Oh yes... the plotlines have gotten much deeper i've noticed and the animation style has improved tenfold!

In American cartoon... you find nothing useful... its seems to be there just for pure entertainment wich it sucks at... in Anime, I find the storylines are usually deep and usually give off some kind of meaning... like Azumanga Daioh... i found that it was telling me to spend a lot of time with my friends cause after school you might not see each other as much any more... and that was just one of many examples...

I usually do a little of both... mostly animes, but sometimes if i REALLY like an anime, i will read the manga after i finish the anime... and so far i've really liked a lot of animes i watched lol!
