If you're finding some good swordfighting animes, then i really have to recommend you to give Karas and Claymore a try coz they're really something that you definitely wouldnt wanna miss :D

Rurouni Kenshin and Samurai 7 are excellent, both for plot and for the duel scenes. Fate/Stay Night is another good anime, but compared to the first 2, less focus on actual sword duels, with only a few worthwhile sword scenes. Claymore is pretty good, but the manga is much better and it is more of a swordsmen-vs- monsters anime, i.e. minimal sword duels.

I'd say Samurai Champloo takes this one easily. In my opinion it's one of the best animes ever. It's got great animation, comedy, action, and even the voice actors for the english dub are great. I wish more awesome animes like this would come around. Yes I'm aware of Haruhi.

Don't forget about Samurai 7! While it is a bit odd to see mechas the fighting is incredible to say the least but it's also sad. I 5th Samurai Champloo though as it's a must-see for any swordfighting lovers.

I don't know about the other anime you mentioned but I can guarantee Rurouni Kenshin hehe I've watched it so many times that my mom had banned me from watching it again..hmmm wonder why? hehehe The sword-fighting is terrific with lots of detail to the technique and the eye candy isn't bad either hehe
