Summary: 23-year old school teacher Aoki Daisuke has a huge problem. One of his precocious 3rd Grade students, Kokonoe Rin, has the hots for him! That's right, the mischievous Rin has proclaimed herself to be Daisuke-sensei's girlfriend and is now on the warpath to win him over or get him fired...whichever comes first! thanks for the episodes but at my pc widnows vista, i cant see the subtitles in vlc media player.
i have the newest one(on the day that i posted this message).
do you know any other way how i can still see them?

I use a codec pack named [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and Media Player Classic to watch anime and I don't have problems with anything.

i downloaded that cccp and used the media player inside that and the zoom player but none of them show subtitles.
this is what all media players tell about the subs.

it always say's undetermined.
does anybody know what that means about the subs?

it looks like it cant read the subs at all.
but my subtitle editor can:

the subs are in the .mkv files and i downloaded the .ass files too(both do not work)
i dont have problems with other anime's subtitles.(.mkv included and external subs work fine)
i have vob sub, but that wouldnt give these problems becuase there are no subtitle files with the same name as the movie in the movie map.

i realy have no idea...
whats the difference between the subtitles form kodomo no jikan and elfen lied, excel saga,azumanga daioh,chobits, gunslinger girl, love hina, ai yori aoshi or puni puni poemy? they all work fine with these anime's.

does it work for you on vista?

I use XP and MPC shows the subtitles. DirectVobSub loads it automatically when I start the video.

Undetermind means that the language of the subtitle wasn't set when it was added to the video. It doesn't affect anything.

I'm sorry but I have no idea what could be the cause of this.

ok then ill convert them to .sub.
but then when you view the book with all words written in it the subs won't show up next to the words but all at the same place at the bottom of the screen.
do you know any other subtitle format where the subs are placed at the given position by the subtitle creator? because .sub does work so maybe another file format work too.

edit: thanks for the link but saddly enough it still does not work. but i learned soem more.
maybe it's something in the DirectVobSub settings or the settings about direct vob sub in the media player.
i found the options from vob sub in media player classic and in vlc media player but i could not find options like enable .ass files ro so.
and the homepage of vlc media player says vlc is already capable with .ass and .ssa files.
still do not show up.

if you know another subtitle format that can use positioning and rotation for the words please tell it and ill convert the .ass to it.
if you know any more reasons why they don't show up, your very welcome.

edit: oh... well... i changed them to .srt and now i can follow the story but cannot understand everything becuase when there are two subs at the same time they are on the same position so it's difficult to read...

Try converting it to SSA.

You could also try deleting every codec (and codec pack) you have and then reinstalling CCCP.

Convert the downloaded files with avs video-Converter (for example convert to *.wmv or *.avi).You can select the subtitles in the convert-options.After the convert you can see the subtitles.
