Pretty good, but you might want to try using something other than magic wand or magic eraser, they're not quite as precise at the edges.
All I use is Pen Tool... It's much more precise like Vanesinger says. I need to stop repeating myself and others, lol. Married to Dithiannim. Current SOTW Entry:  Please let me know if any of my links are broken. Co-Owner: Rendering Club Member: GFX Club.

Its great you are trying, soon you will be great.. keep going. ^____^
But around of the renders are very choppiness and it has some missing spots too. Needs to cut a little deeper. =) Tips: For extract a image, never use Magic wand. The quality around is not good. for render you can use Polygonal lasso (then you will deleting the parts what do you not want little by little). But the better manner is use pentool (there are a lot tutorial on the net for how to use and render with pentool). ^_____^ Its has some here nihonomaru as well. ^_____^ [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] I hope i could help you. =) Humm... the resolution of the image is important as well and could try to cut little deeper. ^____^ Oh I could see now you saved as gif. Gif has max 256 colors. Its not that great for a render. Try to save the render in png format. Use save as... then below Name of the file has format: change for png. but as hikari told you use pen tool i use extraction tool in corel though. but they are both do good rendering if done correctly   By: Ely Onee~chan Other Siggy
