Sony Confirms Tekkonkinkreet Blu-Ray Disc, DVD Details
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, which licensed Michael Arias's Tekkonkinkreet for worldwide distribution, will be releasing the movie in the United States on Blu-ray Disc on September 25 at a US$38.95 suggested price. The release will feature the original Japanese audio in 5.1 PCM and Dolby Digital 5.1, as well as a Dolby Digital 5.1 English dub. Extras will include Spanish, French, and Portuguese subtitles, interviews with Arias and the soundtrack's British rock band Plaid, director's commentary, and Arias's production diary.
