Yukina Legendary Phoenix Posts: 16,848 Join Date: Jun 2007 Gender : Total Awards: 1	Manga-Based Sakuran to Close Toronto Film Festival Sakuran, Mika Ninagawa's live-action movie based on Moyoco Anno's manga of the same name, will be the film [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] at the closing night gala of this year's Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival in Toronto, Ontario. Starring J-rock singer Anna Tsuchiya, Sakuran tells the story of an 18th-century courtesan who breaks with expectations and tries to take control of her own destiny. It will be screened at the Isabel Bader Theatre at 8 p.m. on Sunday, November 18. [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
