New Astro Boy Concept Art, Interview Released
FirstShowing.net is running an interview with Colin Brady, the director of Imagi Animation's computer-graphics movie adaptation of Osamu Tezuka's Astro Boy/Mighty Atom manga. Brady plans to aim for a "hard PG" rating, with an appreciable amount of robot fighting. The story under development will begin with Astro's origin. Last month, the Hollywood Reporter newspaper posted the first public image of the movie's preliminary footage, but it has since removed it. FirstShowing.net has been allowed to display a newer image that is currently the only piece of Astro Boy artwork that can be viewed by the public.
