2 Adult Anime Labels Team Up to Fight Illegal Downloads
The adult anime labels Critical Mass Video and Adult Source Media announced that they have been joining forces to fight unauthorized net distribution of their licensed properties. According to the announcement, that includes streaming, direct "rips" of their DVDs, and illegal sales. “Anime fans are our biggest allies in this fight,” Critical Mass Video president Shawne Kleckner said. “When you go to a site, and see ‘free’ and fee-based downloads of anime shows, ask questions." The companies' email address (stoppiracy@adultsourcemedia.com) for making inquiries or reporting suspected content went live on Monday.
