I'll vote for sensei-kun.
Not sure what you mean by popout sig. If it transparency+some stuff outside the border, then every other sig around is "a popout sig". The transparent part is still part of the space being used, so that doesn't really change much. If it's within the max dimensions anyone can just save as .png or .gif and leave part of their image outside the border *shrug*. If you mean using a drop shadow to make it look likes its poping off the background of the web page then misuzu didn't use one in the last contest. Either way its hard consider sigs with either of those things being used as something different from any other sig.

I never said you shouldn't call it what you want,
they just shouldn't be categorized differently is what I said. I call it "the use of transparency" myself(which I have been using for about 8 years since the first sig I made). lol...
