how to use ips files downloaded for snes games
just change the ips to the filename.smc for the games it is for, sometimes you need ipswin or ips xp
and you need snestool to remove header since most of the translation patch are not compatible with default header, try it out but keep a backup since most of the patch are not complete or may have an update that need the raw japanese version.
