Well, to be honest, it depends a lot whether you like *stupid* shows or not.

The rest... I dunno. As I said, there are many other shows with elements of romance, but it depends on how much sillyness/tragedy you're willing to watch. For example, Mahoromatic or Saikano may fit the description, but I really doubt you'd want to watch them.


However, you shouldn't ignore older stuff. For example, Golden Boy - stuff like that shouldn't be missed by real anime lover
