At the end of the day, dubs actually allow a broader audience to access anime. Whether its done effectively (ie. dubbing) is a whole different story. Try to keep an open mind.
QFT, and the list is perfect as well. I originally wasn't totally cool with Crispin Freeman's Alucard, but he got damn good at the role.
To the OP: you're definitely not alone, but like many things, it's subjective. I, personally, examine both cast lists before starting an anime; oftentimes, I choose which version to listen to based on how many actors I recognize.
