Re: Final Fantasy
As I said in another topic, I enjoyed seven, but that was largely because I liked trying to figure out possible symbolic ties. The depth of the Sephiroth-JENOVA relationship really intrigued me. The problem was that 7 was slower than 8 and lacked the interesting aspects of 6. The characters were still interesting, but it just wasn't an outstanding game to me. The story of it, the plot, was good, it just wasn't well-executed. I've always debated about whether I like 7 or 8 more, and I'm not very fond of either of them in the end.
Then again, who knows what the Japanese was like.
