well i dunno what ones u've watched or not, well i'll recomend a list old and new, i'll be repeating what others have said in this list :D just shows how good they are if u see 100 pplz recomending the same anime imo.

Doujin Works (well its funny... and its got scenes around schools... meh... prolly shouldnt be recomending this after all... all my friends recon its lame >.<) EDIT: But i like this anime hence im recomending it

Fushigi Yuugi

GREAT TEACHER ONIZUKA (OMFG this anime is da rocks XD if ur after school comedy... this is it lol, if u havent watched this.... u betta watch it... regret of ur life if u dont)

Karin (lol cute girl vampire attending high school who gives blood instead of taking it...cant get more comical/drama that that XD)

Kekkaishi (tho i dont think its finished yet >.<, maybe it has tho o.O stopped following it hate waiting :P)

I dont really recomend air... not much comedy imho... and slightly depressing (well in my case, slightly is an understatement)...

this is posted 1 month after ur original question :P but with this huge list there's gotta be some u havet seen :D (im listing old animes because u sound like a friend of mine who just got hooked into animes, so if u've seen most of them, disregard my list then)
