this is the fighter jet from one of the macross series if im not mistaken that takes off and lands like a jet but in mid air can transform into a walking mini gundam type figure..
im sorry to make u watch so long etc but basicly go to the end or watch (its a great AMV) and watch this is something like that but that render if from another game. this is prolly confused by the fact of its a CG render maybe and looks as tho the author got it mixed up.
