Yeah, you have it wrong. :P
I only used standard blur in the background to create some depth. As for everything else, its gradients, c4ds, another stock, photofilters, dodging, burning, and some brushing.
Anyway, it's the lighting effect I wanted, so the left side will be dark for anyone else who may criticise me about it.
