I was browsing through alexa's list of top 500 us websites and found some interesting surprises.

Good news! Porn isn't as popular as one might think. The most popular site on the list that's porn related came in at #33.

wikipedia is more popular than the CNN website, msn, and the new york times.

File sharing is still alive and kicking. Most of the major file-sharing (rapidshare, megaupload, etc.) and torrent searching sites appeared in the top 100.

microsoft corporate website (home of support and downloads for all their products) just got beat out by the internet movide database. guess securing your system takes second priority to finding out who played who in your favourite show.
