Being nice is not creepy. But in this time it is something rare, so you it can be considered weird. You may be seen as a weakling.
Also, if you care to much about your girl, she will begin to value less and less. I can tell it from expirience
It does not mean she is evil, stupid or plain bitchy. People just can't appreciate something, untill they loose it.
Perhaps, you must just try to look cool

To make it clear: i am kind in my heart, and i do not want to change that.
But it is very difficult task - to retain kindness in your heart. It is much easier to be coldhearted hypocrite.
