Ok, the situation is this: over the years, and especially the last few, I've met many girls (with whom I became friends) who told me I was really nice, funny, kind, etc... and they'd usually say that I should get a girlfriend. The way they said it, it was like it's a pity I don't have one, and that I should be able to get one easily enough, yet I'm having difficulty getting one.

I know that everyone is different, and therefore other girls will react differently than my friends, but I'm wondering what they mean when they say I should/could get one. Is there some kind of hidden message in there, or am I worrying about nothing?

Sorry if it seems like a stupid question, I'm having difficulties explaining the situation.
