I really don't like the way the series (both manga and anime) took with Shippuden. It just became too serious compared with the older episodes and as a result none of the dramatic scenes touch you as the older ones (zabuza and haku's death, death of 3rd Hokage etc). Also the series lost their humor and *spoiler alert* a couple of characters that I really liked will get killed in the future. And if all of that weren't enough, the anime developers still believe that fillers are required even though the manga is years ahead of the anime.
