there's a lot of good torrent sites that already do what you're talking about, such as This allows you to:
- search several trackers at once
- provides a list of files inside the torrent
- boxes for passwords, comments, etc
- shows seeder/leecher ratios
- and gives categories (not always used correctly)

It'd probably be easier if, instead of having a script just for the site, you had a way of copying the information from existing sites and pasting it here on an hourly basis...or sumthin. Having oodles of info would be really cool, but then, people could always just post links to the torrent's listing on another site.


As far as megaupload, rapidshare goes, having:
~ Title
~ File Size
~ Media Content
~ Link
and having it all be selectively searchable would really, really rock. To solve the problem of people not getting thanks and reps, it would probably be better if, once an entry is made, a new thread automatically pops up under/above it on the same page. Also, if such a medai-thread-combo were to be done, having the postings automatically load into existing forum rooms would prevent areas from becoming stagnant.
Asking for all this, though, could risk treating pretmaker like a pizza shop. Sorry about that. I know you already decided against doing the stuff for rs, mu, but figured it deserved to be said anyway.
