do you have any girl friends? if not, do what queenie said and find some friends of a friend.
but if ya do, and they're not interested in ya, try asking them to introduce ya to a friend of theirs. at least with blind dates you can start by talking bout the person who set you two up ;3
see where that takes ya but usually a friend of a friend who is single usually has something that makes her single.
