Re: Animes that made you dissapointed...
Rec is a short romance comedy/drama/echhi that is 9 episodes long and each episode is 12 minutes. Odd format, I know. Basically it's about these two people who meet trough a "tragedy" and how their lives are intertwined after it. An aspiring voice actress (who happens to be obsessed with Audrey Hepburn and all her movies) has her house burn down and she ends up staying at a guys house (he happens to live close to her) who she had met in a movie theatre just the night before. He turns out to be in the marketting business and mostly the anime just follows their relationship. It's funny and all and moves along decently and gets a lot done in it's short time span, but just the very initial moment is awkard and makes me question the thing as a whole.
^-Yay for long explainations!
Kashimashi is more better known as Girl Meets Girl. It's a romance, comedy, drama, yuri. A fairly girly guy gets rejected by a girl he likes and flees to the mountains. A flying saucer crashes into the mountain, killing him. The aliens revive him, but mistakenly bring him back as a girl. A love triangle eventually develops between the boy (now girl), his childhood friend and also with the girl who had rejected him. Despite being screwed up beyond belief it was actually entertaining. But my god, the ending was so overdone.
And finally Cromartie High School. This one is simple. It's a random, witty comedy set in a school full of badasses (and gorillas, and robots, and aliens). There's no general plot or development. It's a hilarious comedy, nothing more. But that last episode...*pukes out both lungs*
I'm willing to bet you don't care eitherway though and I just wasted my time typing this all out.
